The moss archetype within the Ostenda Illuminata Prototype are designed to react to interaction with the prototype. They are triggered as someone approaches an Ultrasonic Sensor, awakening or illuminating the moss species.

This species is composed of two materials and a series of tech components and codes listed within the catalog below. The construction series, from left to right, is as follows; 1) solder wires to Neopixel LED and feed wires through and attach to plexiglass base, 2) construct the moss archetype using laser cut plexiglass and plexi-weld the pieces together, 3) wrap paper shield around base forcing light to flood and transfer across the moss lid.
