The Networked Public Space project investigates how "smart" technologies and systems might be integrated into urban public space to facilitate social interaction and improve human wellbeing.

Constructed through collaboration between community members, city administrators, and design professionals, networked public spaces integrate both physical and digital environments through multifunctional art installations and web interfaces that meaningfully engage communities only in the ways those communities choose to be engaged.
